DescriptionThis table, thought to have been made in North Carolina, exhibits thoughtful and sophisticated design. In addition to the shaping of the skirt and the molded detail on the outer corners of the legs, the cabinetmaker has cut away the inner corners of the legs, considerably lightening the overall effect.
Provenance[Myrtle Eull, Houston]; purchased by Miss Ima Hogg; given to MFAH, 1969.
