DescriptionArmbands in tapered cylindrical cuff forms were worn in pairs. This armband is divided into four registers embellished with fire-gilded
arabesques patterns centered on bright carnelians. Larger armbands would have covered the arm from wrist to elbow. The striking patterns
and bold forms seen here are typical of Turkmen jewelry.
