Colnaghi and Co., 1904. * The catalogue raisonnes on the subject of Lucas—Constable English Landscape was discussed by the last person to make an attempt of organizing the material, Osbert H. Barnard, who mentioned that Frederick Wedmore’s catalogue of the Lucas-Constable mezzotints did not describe the published states of the prints. Likewise, Andrew Shirley’s book did not refer to the states of the 22 subjects and was incomplete or riddled with errors.
