Inscriptions, Signatures and Marks
Several notations are evident in the verso of the painting. The artist’s signature, written name, and date of the work prominently appear in the top right corner. Detectable on the left-hand side is a graphite impression of a face, featuring two eyes, which appears to have been traced from the obverse side. Following these, a sequence of alternative titles for the artwork are proposed, written in black, uppercase letters: “Double Blue Dive or Spiral Blue Dive”. A final title suggestion reads “Deep Blue Spiral x 2”.
