ProvenanceThe artist, c. early twentieth century; Michael Post, Winnetka, CA, to 2022 (1); gifted to MFAH, 2022.

(1). According to donor Mike Post in an email on Nov. 17, 2022, “When the family firm vacated an office building in Beverly Hills in 1984, all these etchings (172 pieces) were found in a box in the file room. Since 1984 they have been lying undisturbed at the new building. I began to research them in 2020. I actually did review the FBI stolen art file but with not a single hit.”
