Lagos is classified as a megacity with a population well over 10 million, and including its surrounding towns and neighborhood, the estimates of the total number of people living there jump to more than 25 million. Artist and Lagos-native Chris Iduma says of the Nigerian city: “If you see the rush and the madness, you will think you’re the only reasonable person there.” Amid this bustle, Iduma finds moments of peace and captures them with his camera. Recording moments of stillness amid the bustle of the city, Iduma rejects any documentary view of the city, presenting instead a peaceful inner world.
