ProvenanceThe work has been in one private collection throughout its history and is being offered to us by the daughter of the collector in her honor. As far as we know, the work was acquired by him in c. 1983 directly from the foundry. The owner has supplied an expertise from the Rodin Museum assuring its authenticity.
