A lifelong friend and colleague of some of the most famous names in photography, Todd Webb was deeply embedded in the art world from 1948 until the late 1970s. He was both a perfectionist and an idealist who produced work that was deeply personal in nature. In Paris in 1949, Webb met and instantly fell in love with the woman who would soon be his wife, Lucille. In celebration, he created this work with four prints made sequentially for the overall composition. This endearing work is a fitting memento of those first heady and magical days of love.
