Inscriptions, Signatures and Marks
There is an engraved crest on one side of the rim depicting an arm, holding a crucifix and three arrows.
Stamped underside: Gothic "R" in a square with nipped corners and cleft / Leopard with crown, looking forward / Lion passant facing left, looking at viewer / "P.D" in rectangle, left side of rectangle rounded, right side has nipped corners. [See Grimwade note on p. 2]

There is a possibly related mark in Grimwade, #2153, pp. 156-157
