DescriptionThe Spode Pottery and Porcelain Factory produced this 38-piece dessert service. From about 1800 to 1998, most of the patterns painted by the firm’s artists were recorded in pattern books. These books contain some 75,000 watercolor paintings. This green and gold floral pattern is numbered 1472.
ProvenanceMiss Ima Hogg, by 1965; given to MFAH, 1972.
