Object Type
David Levinthal photographs
miniature toy figurines with a 20˝ x 24˝ Polaroid instant camera in order to
explore our collective visual iconography. In this staged photograph he is
conscious of how the West and the cowboy are represented and romanticized in
western movies, television programs, and dime-store novels.
