[1] André Julien Prévost was an admirer and follower of Corot often making painted landscapes after the esteemed artist’s style. He was also a collector of Corot’s paintings. Hotel Drouot, Catalogue de Tableaux et études par Corot composant la Collection Prévost (Catalogue of Paintings and oil studies by Corot from the Prévost Collection), May 24, 1887 (Paris: Chevaillier et MM. Haro Freres, 1887).
[2] Henry Bare also has works in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (60.71.11) and a Landscape until 1914.
