DescriptionOn November 1, 2011, Scott Dalton photographed family members greeting
each other through the border fence between El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juárez,
Mexico, at an annual mass to commemorate migrants who died trying to cross the
border. The gathering is used by residents on both sides of the border as a
meeting place for those who cannot legally cross the border to be with their
loved ones.
