“Coplanal”
is defined as a series of separate, but interrelated wooden planes suspended in
space, which, in this case, can be manipulated by the viewer. When the central
elements are adjusted, the mobile dips and tilts, thus resembling a bird in
flight. Two attached small wooden balls (likely fishing bobbers) add to its
dynamic playfulness. Similar to other interactive structures in this gallery (Kosice,
Freire), Coplanal is completed by viewer
participation.
