“Big Sister is an internet sex club,” writes Hana Jakrolvá in her introduction to her series. “All the rooms in the Big Sister house, located in the center of Prague, are equipped with web cams and the ‘action’ streams live to the internet.” Jakrolvá’s photographs capture these cameras installed in various rooms. Poised in corners and near ceilings and surrounded by fake florals and bright colors, the cameras seem both menacing and matter-of-fact. What other privacies are laid bare by the lens of the camera?
