BiographyAnthony Traina is best known for his sharp eye for up and coming designers. In 1941 Traina went into business with Norman Norell, who had just departed Hattie Carnegie. While Traina looked after business aspects, Norell served as the fashion designer. Upon Traina’s death in 1960, Norell started his own label using the name Norell. Over the years, Traina design houses, like Traina-Norell, consistently produced high quality, stylish fashion.
