Krystyna Ziach was born in Poland in 1953, where she studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts and history of art at the Jagielonian University in Krakow. In 1979 she moved to Holland, where she studied photography and graphics at the Dutch Academy of Fine Arts ( AKI ) in Enschede.

Since 1984 she exhibits in Europa, USA and Japan.
