BiographyInnkeeper and scholar of kokogaku, published a dictionary of classical terms (Gagen Shuran). Banished from Edo in 1791 for a suspected violation of lodging house regulations. Under the name Yadoya no Meshimori (Servant of the Inn) began publishing kyoka in Nampo's anthologies.
