Giles Grendey

Giles Grendey was born in 1693 at Wootton-Under-Edge in Gloucestershire and was apprenticed to William Sherborne a joiner, becoming a freeman in 1716. He was elected to the livery of the Joiners' Company in 1729 and became a freeman of the city of London. His workshop was located at Aylesbury House, St John's Square, Clerkenwell.
