Yong-Joon Cho photographs the
seemingly insignificant details of daily life to reveal the unease, distress,
even melancholy in the everyday. In his series Usual & Circle, Cho pairs his subjects with distant views of
urban scenes. In these larger views, the subjects would be easily overlooked if
not for the accompanying close-ups.
