Translation of French text on verso: An elementary school teacher teaches children the history of the world with the aid of toy soldiers. Few people know Eschede, a small village in Saxony where Richard SCHIRMER, the aforementioned teacher, teaches the young children of the village using toy soldiers and sets made of cardboard. The children are happy to be in class, are interested in the coursework, and the historical events that the use of the figurines help to make real and engrave them in their memories.
