una famosa serie de monotipos donde Schendel desplegó finísimo papel de arroz
sobre una superficie lisa marcándola, atrás, con un utensilio puntiagudo. La fricción
entre el instrumento y el papel produjo líneas delicadas que aparentemente
flotan en el espacio. Presionó y colgó cada impresión entre placas acrílicas,
propiciando verlas por ambos lados. Si bien sugieren escritura, para Schendel
los monotipos eran vehículos de luz, transparencia y textura.
