[1] Fern Rusk Shapley, Paintings from the Samuel H. Kress Collection, Italian Schools XV-XVI Centuries, New York, 1968, p. 155, mistakenly gives as cat. no. 13. It was sold with a certificate from v. Hadeln.
[2] According to the Zeri Photo Archives the painting was in London with Bellesi before Contini. Also per annotated photo mount in the Witt Library, London, which also gives Koetser.
