DescriptionSilversmith Dimond Chandler specialized in making small items such as thimbles, novelties, and eyeglasses. Nineteenth-century silversmiths and jewelers often made a specialty of eyeglasses, the lenses of which were often fashioned from natural quartz, or rock crystal.
