Object Type
While some artists travel the world in search of photographic subjects, Jan Groover found her subject at the kitchen sink. Arranging mundane kitchen implements to reflect their surroundings and one another, Groover created exquisite, nearly abstract, formal compositions from simple elements, subtle lighting, selective focus, and an extreme close-up perspective.
