DescriptionDell Comics was one of the most prominent publishers of comic books in America during the mid-20th century, and it was particularly well-known for its comics featuring licensed characters from Walt Disney, Warner Bros, MGM, and other major studios. The cover of "Mickey Mouse Album" features Mickey creating a photographic self-portrait, which is just one example of the many photography themed images and plotlines that became increasingly featured in comic books as access to cameras and interest in making snapshots peaked alongside comic-book consumption.
