The daughter of a ballet teacher and a sculptor, Linet Sánchez Gutiérrez navigated between both fields during her student years in search of her own expressive language. Her fascination with the interplay between what is lost or saved by memory prompted her to create white, empty architectural models based on her hazy memories. By then photographing these models, Sánchez Gutiérrez subtly concealed clues as to their true nature, allowing their near realism to induce confusion.
