Object Type
ProvenanceCommissioned by Viktor Zuckerkandl for the Westend Sanatorium, Purkersdorf, Austria, 1904;[...];Hans Hollein (1934-2014), Vienna, Austria [1]; by inheritance to his daughter, Lili Hollein (b. 1972), Vienna, Austria; [Sold through Paul Asenbaum, Vienna, Austria]; purchased by MFAH, 2020.

[1] The Pukersdorf dining room chairs that are in American and European museums were all acquired in 1967-69, suggesting that a group of the chairs was sold that year. It is probable that Hans Hollein acquired this example during that time.
