Description

Adolph Bahn was one of the large number of Germans who immigrated to Texas during the mid-nineteenth century. He established a working shop in Austin in 1853; however, as the following group of spoons documents (B.93.14.1, .2, B.93.15.1, .2) he also supplemented his income as a jeweler and retailer.
