Seaman as agent for William R. Timken (1866-1949); purchased from the Timken Collection through Parke-Bernet by Mrs. Robert Cummins Stuart III (Rosa Allen), later Mrs. Thomas Walter Williams, 1927-1955; bequeathed to her graddaughter, Francita Stuart, 1955-2017; given to MFAH, 2017.
