DescriptionGlen E. Friedman was part of the Dogtown group of surfing enthusiasts and first generation skateboarders that would propel the local skateboarding hobby to the global sport it is today. Friedman’s photographs promoted the skate fashions along with the sport, helping to make the comfortable but trendy look of distressed trousers, hooded sweatshirts, and retro sneakers part of mainstream style.
